Today Pet Haven returned to us, our second pet that had to be put down in 3 month time frame. I could not have asked for kinder more respectful people handling our babies. I understand that their facility is not high tech or even well kept. That does not matter to me. What's important is the concern and care that they show every pet entrusted to them.

The pet cemetery is what you think it would be...a pet cemetery. If you walk around you would see all the different graves-a cat, dog, snake or even a pet fish...she she a wonderful area of flowers where you can let go of your ashes if you wish. My ex husband has used her business many times, never disappointed. Recently, my cat got sick and I thought I would be needing her services, not yet! But when the time comes, I will call her and I will know everything will be taken care of.

Yes, her office is an old mobile home and her oven is a bit crude.
But she's a nice old lady who has now cremated two of our pets, our dog 10 years ago and our cat last week. Both times she allowed me to be there and help place the body into the oven, she then called me when it was done and we took the ashes out of the oven together and I watched her place the ashes into the urn. It's good to have no doubts about what's in the urn.
She treated the remains respectfully, was very sympathetic, and didn't try to sell me anything unnecessary. The "nice" crematorium I called sounded like a car dealer when pushing all the optional extras on me.Added November 28, 2016 by Robert Davis - ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆
Today I made a very difficult decision. For days ahead of time I spoke to crematoriums to find the right fit for our 16 year old life companion. Pet Haven talks a great sales pitch. Caring and Respectful. Everything a grieving owner wants to hear. I drove straight to their facility hoping for a seamless transition and closure for my angle. I arrived to an old single wide tailer with on outdoor fire pit. It looked like something out of a horror movie. I was physically sickened by what I saw. I drove straight to Wilmington, NC where we were treated with incredible professionalism and my angle was given the respect her little body deserved.
